A Snapshot from Mugar

It’s that time of the year when more than half the student body is seen scurrying in throngs towards the hallowed halls of Mugar Library. In fact, Mugar may be the most densely populated study area during finals. But studying is the not the only thing students seem to be doing. On the third floor, the Pal Study Lounge is filled with chatter about subjects ranging from facebook, winter, and even Ludacris (true story).

Exams are not only a time to study, it seems. They seem to be about munching on chips, procrastinating on facebook, and listening to pandora– background music to the story of finals week…

One down, two to go :).

  1. Mugar wasnt always open 24 hours a day during finals… It used to be only open til 2AM and the Print lab in the basement of Cummington Street was the only study lounge and print center that was always open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the entire year. πŸ™‚
